- Designing the process for making Cold Forged components (mainly High Tensile Fasteners). By using various processes like Forging, Trimming, Rolling, Heat Treatment Operation, Surface Finishing etc.
- Development of different Products like - Connecting Rod Bolts, Carriage Bolts, Collar & Flange Bolts & Screws, Step Bolts, Stopper Bolts and Other critical components for OEMs.
- Preparing P-PAP Documents. Scheming of Process Flow Diagrams, Process APQP, PFMEA, Checking Aids, Process Control Plans & Process Sequence for New Developments & doing Feasibility study etc.
- Responsible for Development of critical Cold Forging components.
Involvement in innovative projects like : To find out the optimal setting of design parameters by series of experiments for process improvement, reduction in tooling cost, reduction of material cost per piece & scrap percentage reduction of forging parts.

This application is useful for commercial production. In Press these die combination used to reduce operation. Blanking Die used for cutting the flat shape from sheet metal. Bending Dies used for deforming a flat sheet around a flat axis where neutral plane lies. This design
is economical to build & maintain fast in working.

Case History : In the earlier days, people used to use the analogue readers and then make a note of the same in the books and any data if they would like to know had to be informed to the colleagues and they in turn would get back with the required information. This was very time consuming and very tedious in working on this technology and many times the manual errors would always remain as the same. We decided to work on the project based on the PC to make it more user friendly and without any human intervention in collecting the required data. At the same time the user can have a control over the required devices at any given point of time.
