ENGINEERING PROJECT
- Zigbee based perimeter monitoring system
The gaining importance for security installations all over the world had paved way for the evolution of many different kinds of technologies as well as innovative ideas in this high profile area. This is an application that could be utilized as a security system for monitoring the presence of any intruders. The system will be developed as different MOTES each equipped with PIR sensors and Zig Bee traransceivers for communicating with the immediate neighbours. A wireless camera is also used to detect the images of the intruder, and will be displayed on the LCD screen, Each mote will constantly communicate its present status with the two motes coming immediately on its either sides and this process will be performed at every mote so that the complete status of each module will be received at the main control station and measures can be taken
