DESIGNATION : Head of Indirect Taxation, Inventory & Cost Controller
REPORTING TO : Chief Operating officer & General Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1- INVENTORY :
* Accountable for the Annual Physical Inventory of all materials/stocks.
* Prepare report of all properties/equipments/stocks on hand balance.
* Maintains quantity of Purchase and Sales (Import, Export & Domestic) monitors shelf life of a particular items based on receipts or invoices (Tax Invoice, Sale Invoice $Retail Invoice) for submission to the accounting head.
* Verifies, checks discrepancies on stock quantities, packaging, quality and pricing
* Classifies, reviews and input data in the computer terminal according to prices, manufacturers name, part number/model number and stock number of certain materials.
* Inspects materials in their storage locations to ensure that the sensitive are not deteriorated/damage for issuance purposes.
* Relocation of materials/stocks received to their respective locations
* Receives request from the customers, ascertains the availability of material requested and prepare issue documents.
* Initiates replenishment action for items not available for issue from on-hand stock.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned.
2- TAXATION :
A) SALES TAX
* Independent Responsible for managing & Handling of Commercial Tax , Like Monthly / Annually Vat E-Return filing to Commercial Tax Dept.
* Liaison work to Commercial Tax related matter as CST, Vat, Entry Tax of goods and settlement of input tax credit, downloading the Forms from Internet or manual issuing Form C, Form 38, Form D and Form E etc from Commercial Tax Dept.
* Preparation & Supervision of All required documents from Commercial Tax Dept.
like Sale & Purchase of Taxable or Exempted goods within the U.P., Ex U.P., Import and Export of Goods.
B) EXCISE
* Responsible for Managing of Import, Export & DTA sale consignment with customs and Central Excise dept.
* Preparation & Supervision of All required documents like Quaterly Performance Report and Annual Performance report for SEZ Noida and warehousing of Imported Material as well as Procured duty free goods from DTA Supplier, Job work from DTA Manufacturer.
* Independent Responsible for managing & Handling of Service Tax , Like Monthly / Annually Service Tax Return to Central Excise Dept .
3- COSTING
* Valuation of Raw Material & WIP Material at Six or Seven Stages.
* Activity wise costing day to day Basis for controlling over heads.
* Preparation of Efficiency reports of Machine, Manpower & Electricity.
*Final pricing of finished goods for selling Product to buyer and report to management.
4- ACCOUNTS
* Purchase & sales process, credit control, Store accounting, inter unit reconciliation, preparing all type of reports.
5- AUDIT
* Responsible for Managing of All Inventory and audit works (Vat Audit & Excise Audit) including Maintenance and supervision of Inventory upto Finalization of Balance Sheet and Co-Ordinate with Statuary Auditors and himself do Internal audit for Factory. Time to time report to management, Inventory Control etc.
6- COMPUTER LITERACY :
* KNOWLEDGE OF COMUTER OPERATING WITH ACCOUNT WORKS AND INVENTORY WORKS IN SYMCO SOFTWARE & NEVISION (ERP), M.S.WORD AND EXCEL ALSO KNOWN VERY WELL..
