    Job Profile:
    The Sales Specialist (SS) is a member of a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) team whose overall mission is to focus on revenue growth through evangelism. The Sales Specialist role is focused on driving the revenues of a specific SBU at a branch level. The Sales Specialist owns the opportunity pipeline and sales execution strategies for the products and solutions that the SBU focuses on at a branch level.
    The Sales Specialist role includes direct sales engagements with customers and involves cross group collaboration with a number of principal vendors and internal resources including members of Product Manager, Branch Manager, Inside Account Managers, and the principal vendor team. The SS needs to leverage the entire virtual team in their mission to accomplish the sales revenue target.
    The Sales Specialist will receive air cover from the Product Manager heading the respective specialistion.
    The Sales Specialists may progress to the role of Asst. Product Managers, Business Development Managers or Branch Managers on showing good performance.
    Primary Job Functions:
    - Prospect and develop up-sell/cross-sell/new business opportunities in the named accounts.
    - Manage the overall sales process, from qualification through closing.
    - Maintain a consistent and accurate account and sales lead pipeline.
    - Work as the overlay product/techno-commercial expert in the respective specialization of the SBU.
    - Build credibility of the organisation with the customers in the respective specialization.
    - Understand and articulate the company's value proposition in your specialisation to your customers
    - Periodically update your knowledge of the vendor products in your specialisation.
    Desired Candidate Profile
    Principal qualifications:
    - SELF-STARTER, HUNTER a MUST
    - 1-2 years of sales experience (preferably from an IT industry background).
    - An MBA is a preferable.
    - Good written and oral communication skills.
