Qualification and Experience :
The candidates should meet with the following qualifications:
i) Matriculation or equivalent qualification and National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.
ii) The candidates who possess higher education as Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Degree pass will be considered only if they have minimum qualifications as National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.
iii) The candidates who have passed successfully National Apprenticeship Training Certificate test in the trade of Lineman.
iv) The candidates must have done 2 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSE
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection will be made purely on merit basis. The merit will be made as per marks obtained in National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman trade. The percentage marks obtained shall be rounded off to the nearest 2nd decimal digit for preparing the merit. No weightage shall be given for higher qualifications.
Application fees : the bank Challan form (showing the candidate's name and application number generated through computer) and deposit the fee in any of the branch of SBOP. Fee of Rs.206/- (non refundable including Rs.6/- as bank charges) as registration and processing fee for General / Backward Class & other category candidates and Rs. 56/- (non refundable including Rs.6/- as bank charges) as registration and processing fee for SC/ST candidates

ACADEMIC PROJECT:
“EPROM BASED MOVING MESSAGE DISPLAY”
The main aim of the project is to design a moving message display system. The design allows the system to be programmed from a computer or microprocessor via input/output ports. Using discrete LED’s on a large PCB may increase the message display size.
An EPROM is used to store the message to be displayed on the LED display. Digital data from the EPROM output correspond to the seven LED’s in one column of the display. A high output turns an LED ON, the LED display being a common cathode type. In order to scroll the message across the screen, the cathodes (display columns) of the LED’s are scanned by the cathode multiplex block at a speed high enough so that the flickering cannot be seen. As each column is selected, the corresponding data from LED anodes (display rows) is output from the EPROM and the main address counter is incremented. After a number of scans set by the scan counter, the base address ives the illusion of the message scrolling across the display. The system has a single clock tcounter is incremented and the new value loaded into the main
Address counter. This sequence is effectively divided down by each block.
