Minor Project
Study of Tesla Coil
- Tesla coil is a high frequency, high voltage, air cored, doubly tuned
resonant transformer, which produces very high voltage at very high
frequency. It working is based on resonance principle not on
electromagnetic induction principle like an ordinary transformer. The
advantages using high frequency transformer are-
(1) It produces pure sinusoidal waveform.
(2) Weight and size of transformer is less. Hence overall cost is reduced.
Major Project :
Designing of Thyristor Controlled DC Drive
- Thyristor controlled dc drive is a device comparing of electric circuit &
thyristor, which convert ac power, supply into variable dc power supply
for various industrial and domestic power supply requirement. It has a
very good efficiency over the conventially used toroidal transformer to
make variable dc power supply. In this project I build this thyristor
controlled dc power supply to run a 3HP, 410 V dc separately excited
with voltage feedback circuit.
- It is mainly used for speed controlled of DC motors
PROFESSIONAL TRANINGS
- 4 weeks industrial training in AIMS INTERACTIVE Pvt. Ltd. Jabalpur in
EMBEDED SYSTEM.
- 2 weeks industrial training under 220 KV substation Nayagaon MPSEB
in Jabalpur.
