Project Brief
A study on the utilization of DEMAT account in investment perspective.
Findings
1. I have generated significant revenue by selling DEMAT account during the project work and analyzed the growth in revenue collection during the project period in comparison to last year.
2. Formulated few strategies and worked on those during my project work in order to make significant market growth of edelweiss to track investment behaviour of Kolkata based investors. Analysis of data was made on the basis of total number of identification of customer’s investment needs during the project period in comparison to last year.
Key Learning During the course of project, there was a lot of learning for me as I was able to have a holistic view about the marketing strategies and operation research employed by edelweiss. I learned about the equity market and different products offered by the company and which is suitable financial products for the customers. I learned the importance of teamwork and also that persistent efforts pay good results. I improved my inter-personal skills and confidence by handling different customers and giving lots of presentation by meeting them in person. Further, I learned to adapt quickly and to keep patience, to the changing requirements of my work.
