Personal :
1. Born on 30 Oct 1959 at Chauki. After schooling joined Indian Army (Military Police) on 17 Jul 1980. In Jun 1984 transferred to Military Intelligence Corps. After completing 30 years distinguished service retired from the Army on 31 Jul 2010. Educational qualification is – Army graduate and also qualified in soft skill course for security supervisor.

2. During Army Service have attended following courses :-
a) Unit Education Instructor Course.
b) Basic Intelligence Course.
c) General Intelligence Course – JCO’s/NCO’s.
d) Combined Intelligence Course – JCO’s/NCO’s.
e) Interrogation Course for JCO’s.
f) Satellite and Aerial Imagery Course – JCO’s/NCO’s.
g) Certificate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.
h) GIS,Photogrammetry and Satellite Image Processing Solutions from ROLTA INDIA Ltd NEW DELHI.
i) Computer Fundamentals, MS-Office and Internet.

3. During Army service acquired following experiences :-
a) Participated in Operation Orchid in Nagaland from Sep 1992 to Jan 1995 as Company Quartermaster Havildar Major and was responsible for administration i.e. food, accommodation and vehicles etc for the company strength (approximately 75 persons including 6 officers).
b) Performed duties of independent Detachment Commander wef Mar 1997 to Sep 1999 at Patiala (Pb) for looking after security set up for approximately strength of 3,000 people.
c) Performed duties of Junior Commissioned Officer in a Field Security detachment from Sep 1999 to Sep 2002, in Srinagar. During this period arresting of 8 hardcore militants was possible with the acquisition of correct and timely information.
d) Performed duties of Junior Commissioned Officer in Liaison Unit in Delhi Cantt. from Oct 2002 to Feb 2004 and was responsible to gain information about Anti National activities in National Capital Region, New Delhi.
e) Performed duties of Digitisation, Geographic Information System, Photogrammetry and Satellite Image Processing solutions in UP and Punjab from Mar 2004 to Jul 2010. Was responsible for analysing, interpretation, processing of satellite and aerial images and further communication to various formations/units.
f) Performed duties of Senior JCO in Jalandhar from Jul 2007 to Jul 2010. Was responsible for local administration of the branch in addition to analysing, interpretation, processing of satellite and aerial images and further communication to various formations/units.
