Current Position :-
From 28th August’2008 Working in “ABB Ltd” as a “Site Safety Officer”.
Responsibilities :-
- Safety induction for all the workers and employees entering the plant premises.
- Conducting on job trainings (Job Specific Training)
- Making and review of Project Safety Plan.
- Preparing GRA, HIRA, and JSEA according to the Project requirements.
- Complying with legal requirements and maintaining legal documents..
- Preparing project safety procedures.
- Responsible for making Emergency Exit and Evacuation Plan.
- Responsible for making “ERT”(EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM)
- Training and identifying selected persons as Fire watchers and Rescuers.
- Responsible for conducting mock drills on Fire Fighting, First Aid, Emergency exit and Evacuation.
- Preparing and circulating Emergency Response Plan, contingency plan.
- Responsible for making Contractor assessment & Evaluation.
- Responsible for making Project safety inspections along with technical teams.
- Ensuring proper Material storage.
- Maintaining MSDS for hazardous materials.
- Making Site Safety inspections.
- Conducting Tool Box Talks regularly.
- Responsible for making Scheduled inspections for all the Plant and machinery.
- Responsible for maintaining Work Permit Systems
- Inspection of PPE’S at regular intervals.
- Medical check up for the personal entering the site.
- Testing of illumination and noise levels at different locations of the site.
- Taking special precautions and on job trainings during commissioning and pre commissioning activities.
- Responsible for conducting Light vehicle, earth moving equipments
Vehicle inspections.
- Responsible for conducting Crane inspection, inspection of tools and tackles.
- Responsible for conducting electrical inspection like Earth pit resistivity checking, ELCB, Under Ground Cable Layout.
- Conducting safety training programs for the workers.
- Conducting everyday Pep talks, Tool box talks.
- Issuing Height Pass for persons who works more than at a height of 10 meters.
- Inspection of machinery like DG’s, welding machines, electrode ovens, air compressors, grinding machines.
- Inspection of Gas Cutting sets.
- Inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Maintenance, refilling and ensuring proper usage of fire extinguisher.

Worked as Site Safety Officer in ABB Ltd, at Grasim Cements Ltd , Kotputli, Rajasthan[Construction of 8,500TPDA Cement Plant along with 23 * 2 MW Captive Power Plant, (Sep’ 08 TO Jan’ 09)], Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd, Cudapa, AP [Construction of 6,500TPDA Cement Plant, Jan’ 09 TO Jul’ 09)],[IISCO Burnpur Steel Plant, Burnpur, West Bengal,(Jul’09 TO Oct’09)]
ACHIEVEMENTS :-
Attended 2 days work shop by ABB Ltd on Electrical Safety, Safety at Height Work, Safety in Material handling, Safety in temporary lifelines and harnesses, Transportation Safety.
