Mr.Keshav Jadhav started the firm in 1978 with his partner Mr.Gokul Kamat. They decided the name Sunmeet by giving due respect to their mother and taking first part of their names (Sunanada SUN, meetali MEET)They started as CnF agents in Bombay port. Mr.Jadhav acquired his own CHA (Custom house agents) license in the yr.1987.They began in a rented office near Bombay port their first client was Poonj Sons pvt.ltd who were manufacturing insulation material which was exported to Saudi Arabia .
