Research Medical Officer

Clinical Services :
1. Providing clinical services to Leprosy, TB, HIV patients.
2. Taking care of the patients during their active treatment period and to follow up for their surveillance.
3. Develop acceptable standards in clinical service delivery of disability and outpatient care.
4. share with the other clinical centers of LEPRA with guidelines for treatment regimens, management of complications in patient care
5. Perform referral services to patients for reconstructive surgery, eye operation and other conditions.

Research :
1. Writing proposals for Research Projects to boost the clinical research.
2. Providing clinical details and enrolling patients in research projects.
3. Liaison with clinical centers of LEPRA or other centers for research material.
4. Prepare and share selective case studies among the other projects of LEPRA to guide them on specific issues.
5. Paper Publications in National & International journals.
6. Paper Presentations in various forums.

Documentation :
1. Strengthening and ensuring proper documentation of cases
2. Report generation on clinical division (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual reports).
3. Collecting, compiling and Analysis of patient’s data.
4. Ensure proper maintenance of Patient records and data management.

Requisites for the position :
Brilliant academic background with a degree in MBBS from a renowned institute
1. At least 1 to 2 years of experience in community health programmes.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English language
3. DPH or Post Graduate diploma in dermatology / venereology is desirable.
4. Proficiency in local language will be preferred.
