    Music Programming

    Location : Mumbai

    Business Unit : Mauj

    Reporting to : Manager –Music Operations

    Basic Function :
    a) Mine the content catalogue in depth and detail it by genre
    b) Take inputs from regional account managers or source it from VAS circle leads (thru Acct Mgr)
    c) Take inputs from
    a. TV charts
    b. Radio charts
    c. Magazines
    d. Physical sales
    e. Music Reviews
    d) Take inputs from daily MIS reports to observe the trends of downloads / usage
    e) Take inputs from record labels for
    a. Track listing
    b. New movie updates & planning
    c. Packaging of their content
    d. Understanding their previous successes with content packaging & try on operators
    e. Know which label is having which kind of music / genre
    f) Relationship management with the
    a. Licensing teams
    1. request for new acquisitions
    2. Incase of queries, check for licenses before deploying cover versions / remixes etc
    3. Understand licensing deals / rev share for knowing which content to sell on priority
    b. Record label teams
    1. Conduct weekly / monthly meetings or calls with labels and engage them to build packages.
    2. Most importantly : apart from the event calendars track listing, creative bundling of content by mining the catalogue.
    c. Account mgmt teams
    d. Vendors
    1. For creating OBD’s & packaging the OBD prompt well
    e. Production team
    1. For prioritizing content as per programming calendar (this is first priority for production)
    g) Prepare marketing / event calendars for the year, circle by circle
    h) Deliver packaging request received from account management / operators for creating specials
    i) Do top 20 / 50 track listing as per the above calendars
    j) In case of OBD pushes, package creation & briefing to the vendor on specials / events
    k) WAP site banner programming
    a. Off deck Mauj WAP site banner programming; ensuring weekly refresh
    b. Mobango site banner refreshing
    c. Trying out new packages / bundles on the WAP stores
