Description:
The GlobalScholar.com product management team is looking for a results-oriented, talented, smart and experienced product manager to drive the strategic direction and execution of features for the school district (B2B) platform. This role calls for an individual who can demonstrate sound product management skills (analytical, business judgment, communication, product discipline) in addition to being technically smart to gain credibility with customers and stakeholders most of whom are technical professionals.

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle and defining the product vision. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

The Product Manager is expected to:
1. Work with stakeholders to maintain alignment the priorities with business plans
2. Develops and maintains the monthly and quarterly development plans for the cross-functional Product Engineering team
3. Establishes processes and responsible for overall productivity of the Product Engineering resources
4. Acts as the single point of contact between the customer support and implementation teams to align the product direction
5. Translates customer/clients needs into new features and new services.
6. Act as a leader within the company
7. Typically reports to a senior product manager or a director
8. Ability to think big and innovate to get the company ahead of the curve
9. Come up with great product ideas around technology and education and being able to evangelize it and execute

Requirements include but are not limited to:
1. Hands-on experience
2. Excellent teamwork skills
3. Prior experience in the Education space is a huge plus
4. Be motivated and energetic!
5. Know how a website works UI
6. Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
7. 5+ years experience
8. Self learner who can thrive on the challenges of an exciting start-up environment
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
