Licensed Aircraft Engineer – ATR 42/72 – 500 (Line Maintenance/Base Maintenance)

Position :
Reporting to Line Maintenance Manager / Base Maintenance Manager, the Licensed Aircraft Engineer will carry out maintenance and certification on company aircraft to ensure optimum serviceability and operational schedules are met.
The incumbent will liaise with MOC when certain maintenance tasks are required and minimize delays and will supervise Aircraft Technicians on all aspects of servicing, defect rectification and maintenance carried out on the aircraft.
He/ She will take all necessary measures to ensure safety of personnel working in the vicinity of the aircraft and preventing damage to the aircraft or its equipment as well as ensuring that Technicians adhere to the instructions laid down in the aircraft approved documents.

Experience and Qualifications :
Candidates must have :
* Served an apprenticeship with an airline/approved organisation or have received equivalent formal training.
* A minimum of 5 years experience of which at least 3 years as a Certifying Engineer in Line / Base Maintenance of ATR 42/72-500 aircraft
* Minimum License Requirements – ATR 42/72-500 issued by DGCA-India with current validity.
* Thorough job knowledge covering all aspects of aircraft maintenance practices and procedures.
* Must be fully familiar with legislative and legal matters relating to the safe and airworthy operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards.
* Fluency in English Language, reading/writing/conversing.
* Age must be less than 50 years.
* Familiar with computer operating system and Microsoft office Word, Excel, Power point etc.,
