Head Finance / Finance Controller
Job Summary :
The Head Finance/Finance Controller shall be responsible for all the financial management activities of the company. He/she should be able to offer leadership and coordination skills in the administrative, business planning, accounting, investments, taxation, personnel management, cost control, legal compliances and budgeting affairs of the company. The responsibility will also include assisting the COO on all strategic and tactical matters relating to forecasting, cost benefit analysis and investor relations. He/she will act as advisor to the SBU heads, evaluating and assisting them with their financial plans and economic modeling. The person shall also be responsible for handling all legal & IPR related issued affecting the organization’s tangible and intangible assets & liabilities.
Qualification :
CA. Additional Degree in Economics/Commerce/Management/CS/ICWA will be an added advantage
Experience :
8-10 years of financial and legal experience preferably in an IT/ITES/Media/Telecom/ Service organization, of which the last three years must have been within a growing organization in a financial leadership position and facilitated its growth from 100 crore to a 200 crore plus entity.
Tasks :
* To ensure efficient tax planning, legal and regulatory compliance of Income Tax, Service Tax, PF, ESI, VAT, GST, TDS including auditing & filling of various returns
* Supervising, reviewing, maintaining accounts and also interfacing with business heads for regular and effective monitoring of cash flows, budgets, expenses, projections, business performance and strict compliance of company’s fiscal policies
* Construct, supervise and monitor a reliable internal control system for debtors and creditors accounts. Establish systems for tracking and monitoring of NPAs and taking actions based thereon. Ensuring efficient management of procure-to-pay cycle including invoice handling and payment process
* Administration of employee’s salary, benefits, loans, taxes and regular review of compensation plan together with head of HR to minimize cost from companies’ point of view and provide efficient tax planning to employees
* Establishing appropriate mechanism for safeguarding IPR of the company, brands and other assets. Also handling issues pertaining to legal disputes, lawsuits, notices about company, products, services, employees, premises or any other tangible & intangible assets
* Maintaining relationships with existing private equity investors with proper reporting and management of all company secretarial works
* Advising top management on fund raising and mergers & acquisitions by identifying right opportunities.
* Managing investments, surplus funds, assets to maximize ROI and managing all issues surrounding capital structure
Skill Sets :
* Person should be well managed with an eye for detail
* Should be IT savvy and process oriented.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
* Must have deep desire to work and succeed in a growing organization with total commitment and sense of job ownership.
* Should be able to work as a Team together with CXO’s of the organization
