Project title : Azadirachta Indica Extracts as Corrosion Inhibitor for Mild Steel in Acidic Medium
Description : Corrosion is the destructive attack to metal by a chemical or electrochemical reaction with its environment. A corrosion inhibitor is the material that attaches or coats the metal surface, providing a protective barrier film, which intern stops the corrosion reaction from developing.
The aim of the project is to study the inhibition efficiencies of the Azadirachta Indica (Neem) root & leaves extract in the HCl medium for Mild Steel. The study helped to find out which of the two extracts gives best inhibition efficiency for different normalities. The inhibitive action of these extract was studied using Weight Loss method. According to the study I have obtained results for leaves gives efficiency of 59.10% and roots gives the efficiency of about 87.24%.

- Completed inplant training in Vishwanath Sugars ltd Bellad-Bagewadi from 15.07.10 to 30.07.10. The factory uses cutting, evaporation, crystallization and clarification process. The factory has its own power generation plant and distillery unit.
