MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LOCATION : RATNAGIRI

REQUIREMENT :

Education : The individual must have minimum of BE in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering. Exceptional candidate with good and proven experience in a typical speciality chemicals company but not meeting the above educational qualification can also be considered.

Work Experience : Minimum 5 to 7 years work experience in a speciality chemicals or dyestuff company with an in depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of the following equipments -

1. Glass Line Reactors (GLR's) 2. Stainless Steel (SS) / Mild Steel (MS) / Lead Lined vessels

3. Cooling tower and chilling plant 4. Pneumatic Systems

5. Boilers 6. Diesel generators

7. Hot oil units 8. Pumps, vacuums, and valves.

Besides the above, the candidate must be able to work independently, should be hard working and must have good acumen of inventory control for engineering items. The candidate residing in Ratnagiri vicinity will be given preference. We can also provide accommodation at Ratnagiri if the candidate has enough experience.

For above position, a pleasing personality, excellent oral and written communication skill, ability to deliver within time frame and budget, ability to work under pressure, and meeting the deadlines and tight schedules are the pre-requisites. Candidate must possess basic knowledge of computers such as MS office, Email.

Job Profile :

• Daily supervision of Sub Contractors Scaffolding and Rigging Crews.
• Inspection of all rigging equipment & machinery.
• Everyday manpower planning and according distributing Job to team.
• Give hand signal to the crane operator.
• Give the instruction to all the rigger before performing duty.
• Managing different activities and overall responsible for the safety for all riggers at platform
• Hook-up and commissioning work on platforms.
• Attaching and Detaching the lifting equipment to the different kinds of loads as well as the devices used for lifting.
• Familiar with operations like testing, loading and unloading as a part of cross functional training program.
• Communicating with the crane operators, using hand signals and voice communication to guide the lift into place and help direct the operators of the crane into correctly moving the load being lifted to the correct location.
• Maintenance planning as per techniques, routine checking and distribution of various equipments, to team as per requirements.
• Platform revamp work including painting
• Replacement of Cranes on unmanned and process platforms
• Piping work on platforms such as flow arm and riser piping, water injection and gas lift lines using CS, NACE, SS, DSS, Incolloy and Cu - Ni material.
• Advice proper work practices, ensure compliance to relevant standards & HSE policies
• Review and approve Sub Contractors engineered scaffolding submittals and where necessary, the engineering of heavy load, high lift and hanging scaffolds.
