Civil Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
Undertake the storm water drainage design for Civil Engineering projects This includes resort projects and land development projects
Undertake hydrology modeling using appropriate 3D computer software for calculating the storm water drainage runoff
Provide the Civil Engineering SWD design input for our master plan project
Role involves projects for both the HCMC an Hanoi offices and it will be necessary to periodically travel between these 2 offices
Report directly to the Director of Engineering and provide assistance for monitoring project schedules and budgets
Undertake civil engineering calculations and analysis to produce safe economic and efficient and civil designs
Liaise with external civil consultants who may be used to undertake part of the work depending on project demands
Liaise with and provide engineering advice to the project architects other engineering disciplines sub-consultants government and local authorities and clients as required
Ensure that all drawings and calculations are reviewed and checked in accordance with Archetypes QA systems
Review and advise regarding appropriate civil engineering software and liaise with CAD Manager regarding drafter training
Produce civil design briefs documents reports and specifications

Education :
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Technical College

Experience and Skills :
Be a licensed civil engineer
Excellent Vietnamese communication and personal skills with a good English language both written and spoken
Excellent knowledge of civil engineering analysis design software packages as well as CAD and general office software packages
Good knowledge of international and local engineering codes and design standards

Desirable Experience :
Minimum of 6 years post-graduate design work experience
