    Job Description :

    You will be in charge of the overall finance function for the South Region, reporting to the Regional Director- South and a dotted line functional reporting to the General Manager Finance at the Head Office.
    Your experience matters. Especially when it can change children's lives.

    Your Role :

    Your Role will include preparation of the annual and periodic budgets and regularly monitoring the performance of the region, functions and groups vis-a-vis these budgets. Provide Financial MIS, monitor performance on a monthly basis with analysis. Ensure the necessary statutory, regulatory and legal compliances, where applicable. Coordinate with the HO for the MIS, budgets and the routine accounting. Verify partner's financial accounts and be a part of the regional committee to evaluate and recommend funding to partners. Ensure effective working capital for operating expenses. Plan for and maintain optimum cash flows & maintain the necessary accounts. Timely and accurate consolidation of region data. Coordination for internal and statutory audits at the region. Migration to a new accounting software and be a part of the team to formulate the Standard Operating Procedures for Finance function. Provide inputs for any business activities/tie-ups. Your job will involve travel to the project partners and HO for reviews etc.

    You :

    You will preferably be an Inter CA or M.Com and have at least 10 - 12 years experience in handling finance and accounts in a large organization. You are well versed with taxation and charity laws, handled audits, done financial planning and manage a team of accountants.

Also involves processing Manual Journal entries ( system write offs, booking accounting, reversal, spot gains& losses, payable/receivable).
    - Conducting team meetings, ensuring that the team is updated about the process exceptions, updates and changes in the procedure.
    - Doing yearly and mid year appraisals.
    - Ensure SLA compliance by regular quality checks and reviews, Metrics reporting, involved in base lining for ramp up metrics.
    - Planning team events (Outings, dinner’s and off sites)
