Job Description, Candidate Profile, Company Profile, Company Address :

To lead, coordinate, supervise, support and inspect the ongoing welding activities related to MIG & TIG in all related areas under production in conjunction with the Engineering, Procurement, Methods, Production and Quality assurance functions as per the EN 15085 class 1 & ISO 3834.
Experience in Quality Assurance in Railway industry will be advantageous.

Key Accountabilities :
-Fulfilling the Tasks, Responsibilities and Areas of Competence of the Welding Coordination Personnel in accordance with EN 15085 Part 2
-Training of the welders and developing them as per the bombardier requirement.
-Final inspection of the welded component (Visual inspection)
-Supervision of Procurement of welded parts.
-Carrying out the source and first article inspections at the supplier sites.

Education :
A full time Masters/Bachelors in Engineering & an International Welding Engineer certification is mandatory. ASNT Level III in UT, RT, VT will be an advantage, Qualification / experience as ISO 9001 :2000 Auditor would be beneficial.

Experience :
We are ideally looking out for an candidate with 8-10 years of relevant welding experience in heavy fabrication Industries, preferably in Railway Industry. He should be aware and experienced in International welding standards, should have practical experience in welding related quality assurance, metallurgy and NDT-processes. Should possess good leadership abilities and be a fast decision maker. A high level of convincing skills and working knowledge of MS-office applications is essential.
