Applications are invited in the enclosed prescribed proforma from the eligible candidates for the recruitment in Group-C in RDSO (Ministry of Railways) against Cultural Quota, who fulfill the following terms and conditions.

Cultural Field in which candidates required : SINGER ( Note : Applications other than this field will be summarily rejected )

01. No. Of posts : Two Singer (01-Male & 01-Female)
02. Pay Scale : Pay Band-1 (Rs.5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
03. Minimum Qualification :
A) Educational Qualification : Matriculation or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks from govt. recognized institution.
B) Cultural Qualification : Should have Degree/Diploma certificate in Singing from Govt. Institution/Govt. recognized Institution.

04. Age limit : 18 - 30 years as on 01.01.2011. The lower and upper age limit indicated will be reckoned as on 01.01.2011.

05. Examination Fee : Rs. 40 should be paid in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Orders (Purchased on or after 06.12.2010) drawn in favour of Executive Director/Finance, RDSO, Lucknow payable at GPO Lucknow. SC/ST/PH candidates and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from payment of examination fee.


06. Selection Process : The selection shall consist of Written Test (Objective type questions) and assessment of talent in the relevant field on (I) the basis of practical demonstration (ii) testimonials/prizes etc.

08. How to apply : Download the form and neatly fill it. Paste one Passport size photograph in the space provided in the form and sign on it and two similar photographs duly signed on reverse should be clipped alongwith the application form. Applications should be sent by ordinary post in a closed envelope with superscription of “Application for the recruitment against Cultural Quota-2010”. No acknowledgement will be given for applications sent by Courier/Registered Post etc. The last date of receipt of application is 15.01.2011 (upto 17.00 hrs). Application or any enclosure received separately after the last date of receipt of application will not be entertained.
