APPOINTMENT TO FACULTY POSITIONS
Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (Deemed University), Pune invites applications from well qualified candidates for faculty positions at the level of Professor/ Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in its various academic Departments.
DEPARTMENTS: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Applied Mathematics.

Post, Qualifications :
1 Assistant Professor :
a) Ph.D Degree with a First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech.*, and experience of 2 years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade;

2 Associate Professor :
i) Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engg., / Tech., and experience of 5 years in teaching, research and / or industry at the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.

3 Professor :
i) Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engg., / Tech., and experience of 10 years in teaching, research and / or industry, out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Reader/Associate Professor or equivalent grade.

SCALE OF PAY:
Professor: Rs.37,400-67,000
Associate Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,000
Assistant Professor: Rs.15,600-39,100
