Job Location : Pune.

Job Description :
* Plan and organize the production process for each assigned title, reviewing transmitted manuscript, turnover materials and art & perm logs to ensure that materials are production-ready and complete.
* Coordinate and work closely and proactively with authors, editors, freelancers and all members of the in-house project team to ensure that all are fully informed and in agreement of the project’s production plan at the time that production begins, ensuring production success.
* Hire, instruct and supervise freelance production services who, in turn, will engage copyeditors, proofreaders, artists, researchers, fact-checkers, indexers, compositors, designers, etc.
* Demonstrates a high degree of independent decision making, problem solving, and initiative, in addition to being detail oriented, flexible, resourceful and able to multi-task effortlessly.
* Firm command of English grammar and usage rules, spelling, and editing rules with demonstrated proficiency in editing and proofreading are required.
* Very strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
* Competent in MS Office.

Desired candidate profile :
* Minimum 8 - 10 years of college textbook production experience, preferably in the Humanities.
* Bachelors or Masters Degree. (English degree preferred)

Job Description:
1 Estimation of rib size (MS) (L*B*H) according to Drawing.
2 Send them for cutting process.
3 Send them for machining (edge/face/bore/degree)as per their fitment.
4 Send them for fabrication work as per drawing.
5 Send the fabricated body in furnace for heat resilience.
6 Arrange all the parts(moving,sliding,working plates,pillars,cylinders approaching,side,ejector,main ram etc./accessories (nut/bolts/bush/spacers etc.) for the assy. Of machine.
7 Estimation of material required and keeping record of it.
8 To issue proper instruction & schedule to shop floor and to take proper steps, so that the job is executed in scheduled time.
