DESIGN MANAGER/ENGINEER
Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least 10-12 years’ experience design, checking the drawings and drafting using Auto CAD. Should have knowledge of piping, structural, equipment General arrangement drawings, analysis and P&I drawings. Should be familiar with necessary codes and specifications like ANSI, ASTM and JIS

DRAFTSMAN
Candidate must Diploma/ITI (Mechanical/Civil). At least 3-6 years’ experience in drafting services for Engineering projects covering mechanical/Structural, design work related Power/Petrochemical plants.

Presently working in HOT STRIP MILL (C.S.P), BHUSHAN POWER & STEEL LTD., SAMBALPUR in Electrical &Automation Deptt. as an Assistant Engineer since June-2009.
Worked in the extension project of hot rolling mill stands for 2 months.

 OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

I am responsible for the following activities in the above mentioned project:-

• Coordination and communication with Grenzebeach (Germany) Siemens & SMS DEMAG.
• Training and Knowledge sharing with team members.

 Work during project

Electrical section:-

• Erection, installation and commissioning of HP/LP control room.
• Erection, installation of main motor (Siemens).
• Cable laying both HT &LT including control cables.
• Installation of power panels, ET 200 panel, building lighting.
• Knowledge of cabling, glanding, ferruling & termination of cables.

INSTRUMENT SECTION:-

• Installation and commissioning of ZOES1700, MOES1000 & ZOES300, Hydraulic room. All ET200 stations.
• Installation and commissioning of LVDT, Encoder, Proximity switch, etc. instrument used in stand.
• Commissioning of roll change.
• Basic knowledge of level 1 PLC Siemens PCS7, Installation and commissioning of finishing mill.
• Installation and commissioning of profibus, fibre optic and Ethernet network of entire production line.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance, Operation, Installation & Troubleshooting for the following fields:-
• Routine operation & maintenance activities.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Break down maintenance.
• Corrective maintenance.
• O&M of systems “SIEMENS” PLC S7/DCS Automation system and different electronic instrument like sensors, transducers (position, flow, pressure etc.).
• Study of SIEMENS drawing and process.
• Understanding various instrumentation deliverables like layout , process flow sheet ,P&I diagrams, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, hook-up diagrams, instrument index sheets, instrument specification sheets, loop instrument installation details, earthing drawings, process interlocks, instructions, operation & maintenance manuals.
• Understanding plant operation, hazardous area classification, safety permit system etc.
• Understanding control room system, DCS&PLC erection & commissioning ,program & software installation of engineering and operation station, barriers, isolators, internal panel wiring & system layout ,loop checking, logic checking, maintenance & trouble shooting of DCS(Input/ Output Devices, DI/DO/AI/AO Boards Backup units).
• Preparation and execution of daily, weekly, monthly & major shutdown and preventive maintenance.
• Preparation of single line diagram and control schemes.
• Selection of MCB, Breakers, Contactors, Relays for MCC & PDB.
• Preparation of technical specification and scope of work for refurbishment of electrical items.
• Involved in recommissioning of electrical equipment for corrective maintenance.
• FIELD INSTRUMENTS:- Temperature, pressure(absolute and gauge),flow& level transmitters,sensors,switches & gauges, pneumatic actuators, positioners,controllers,indicators & recorders, barriers& isolators, control valves, On-Off valves ,I/P converters, gas filled thermometers, RTD , thermocouple, thermostat ,pyrometer ,vibration sensor, proximity switches, position transducers, primary flow elements etc.
