MER Designers & Engineers Pvt. Ltd is currently recruiting the following personnels with experience in Ship Building.

Naval Architect with design experience 2 to 5 yrs.
Btech in Naval Architecture/equivalent with experience working in Shipyard design offices/Marine Consultancy.
Job responsibilities include preparing concept designs, performing Naval Architectural Calculations, Checking of Design drawings, Coordinating with Class/Flag etc.

Working knowledge using design softwares like Tribon, Autoship etc. would be an added advantage.

Marine Design Drafsmen with 2 to 5 yrs experience.
ITI Draftsmenship /equivalent with experience working in Shipyard design offices/Marine Consultancy.
Working knowledge using Autocad 2004/2007 is mandatory.Experience in using design softwares like Tribon,3D softwares like rhino etc. would be an added advantage.
Job responsibilities include preparation of design drawings (Structural/Piping/Electrical) as advised by the Engineer.

Manager Hull Fabrication.
Experienced Professionals with min 10 years of experience . To have work experience in Shipyards handling New building/Ship Repair.
Job responsibilities include complete responsibity for fabrication within the budget/time frame, but not limited to planning, coordination with the work force for fabrication, coordinating with class/client etc.
To be a good team player with good communication skills.

Site Engineer- Hull Fabrication
Naval Architect/Diploma in Ship Building with min 3 to 5 yrs experience in Shipyards handling New building.
Job responsibility includes review of production drawings, planning,monitoring production, coordinating with other disciplines, class/flag etc.
To be a good team player with good communication skills.

Supervisor Hull Fabrication
Experienced Hull fabrication supervisor with 5 to 10 years of experience in new Building.

Qualified Welders. (Manual Arc welding/MIG welding)
Experienced welders certified by Class .To have experience in NewBuilding.

Fabrication Fitter
Experienced Fabrication fitters with new building experience. Min 2 to 5 yrs experience.
