    Qualification required: M.D Pathology / DNB Pathology from a MCI recognized Institution /
    Medical College - with aptitude to work in Transfusion Medicine Centre
    OR
    NON-PG JUNIOR RESIDENT
    Qualification required: MBBS or MBBS with DC Path from a MCI recognized Institution /
    Medical College - with aptitude to work in Transfusion Medicine Centre
    DURATION OF THE POST
    Sr. Resident: Three years
    Jr. Resident: One year
    Sr. Resident: Approximately Rs.18,750/- (plus allowances as per Govt. of India Residency Rules)
    Jr. Resident: Approximately Rs15,600/- (plus allowances as per Govt. of India Residency Rules)

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    1. The candidate has to actively assist the Senior Faculty incharge of Transfusion Medicine Centre in various therapeutic procedures like apherisis, component separation and other therapeutic procedures following a brief period of training.
    2. Assist the faculty member in day-to-day management of the Transfusion Medicine Centre,
    supervising the technical staff and guiding them in technical matter.
    3. Actively participate in quality control and implementation of it as advised by the Officer
    Incharge.
    4. Organising & attending the Blood Donation camps along with faculty and staff and participate in speedy screening of the blood so that it can be provided to the patients.
    5. Participate in the work of Clinical Pathology/Emergency Lab and assist the Sr. Clinical
    Pathologist sharing the work.
    6. Get involved in research activities of TMC / Clinical Pathology
    7. Actively participate in teaching/training of Medical Officer/Technicians deputed by NACO and taking classes for B.Sc Nursing and other Graduate Training courses at NIMHANS.
    8. Any other technical/patient care related work assigned by the Officer Incharge – TMC / Clinical Pathology Laboratory
