Sub: Filling up the posts of Personal Assistant and Lower Division Clerk in the National Human Rights Commission on direct recruitment basis.

The National Human Rights Commission, a Statutory Autonomous Body, invites applications in prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) from suitable candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions as mentioned below for appointment to 02 posts of Personal Assistant and 04 posts of Lower Division Clerks on direct recruitment basis.

Pay scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Gr. Pay Rs.4600/-
No. of vacancies : 02

Name of the post : Lower Division Clerk
Pay scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Gr. Pay Rs.1900/-
No. of vacancies : 04

3. Eligibility Conditions:
Personal Assistant
Qualification required :
12th Class Pass or equivalent. Able to take down dictation in English / Hindi at minimum speed of 120/100 words per minute. The skill test will be conducted on computer only.
Age limit:
Between 18 & 27 years.

Lower Division Clerk
(i) 12th Class Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / Universities.
(ii) A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minutes in Hindi. The skill test will be conducted on Computer only.
Age limit:
Between 18 to 27 years of age

4. Method of selection:
Selection will be made on basis of written examination followed by Skill test/ Interview.

How to apply:
The applicants fulfilling the eligibility condition may apply in the prescribed proforma along with attested copies of (i) certificate of age, (ii) certificate of education qualification, (iii) certificate in support of claim to belong to SC/ST/OBC/PH, as applicable, addressed to the Section Officer, Establishment Section, National Human Rights Commission, Faridkot House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi-100 001.

Mode of payment : Fee payable Rs.100/- (Rs. One hundred only)
Candidates submitting application should pay the fee by Demand Draft /Bankers Cheque to “NHRC” payable at New Delhi.

Date and Venue of the examination will be intimated to the candidates or published in the Newspaper and Commission’s website: www.nhrc.nic.in later after the receipt and scrutiny of the applications.

The last date of receipt of applications will be 10 Jan 2011. Applications received late will note be entertained.
