Job Function: Trade Finance (Export Import)

Brief on the Project:
Trade Ops processes Trade transaction for an international bank. The requirement is for a person at mid management level having in-depth experience in Trade operations to manage Key Metrics of the Units, ensuring that the unit performs the process by adhering to various controls put in place, usage of resources to the optimum level and managing relationship with Client. It also includes suggesting and implementing best practices for trade ops processes.

A) EXCISE
- Crediting & Debiting of Excise duty Control over and service tax under CENVAT scheme and documentation.
- Fulfilling the requirements of Excise Govt. Off. And updating them with the company’s payment of Duty.
- Reconciliation with the Job – Worker regarding sending back the material within 180 days.
- Preparation of ER-1 monthly statement.
- Calculation & depositing of differential Excise Duty, Service Tax, Education CESS
- Control over Invoices, C (4) challan, 57 AC 5 (b) challan, ARE-3 (Under CT-3 Bond), ARE-1 (Under export), Job Work challan for Rectification and their documentation.
A) Sales :
- Preparation of Sales-Tax statements quarterly, monthly and yearly.
- Collection & deposit of ST-38, VAT C-4, VAT D1 & C-Forms to sales tax authority and Issuance of these Forms & their proper documentation.
- Preparations of Sales tax benefit statements against deferment cases and their documentation.
- Calculation of LADT
- Also fulfilling all the requirements during Assessment by the Sales tax Authorities.
B) Finance :
- Reconciliation with Banks on monthly basis.
- Preparing balance sheet and other accounting aspects like J.V. and P.V.
- Finalization of accounts
- Passing the bills
- Raising the debit note and credit note
- Investing funds in stock markets
