VACANCY FOR FACULTY POSITIONS

ISM, Ranchi is a leading centre of higher education in eastern India. The Institute is expanding its activities in several new knowledge domains. The Institute requires Faculty Members for the following departments :

1. Business Management (BM)
2. Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT)
3. Food Technology (FT)

Qualifications and Experience :

For BM : An MBA or equivalent degree in Finance/Marketing/HRM/IT preferably from IIM/XLRI/XIM or other reputed institutes with specialization in the relevant areas, and minimum 2 years experience. Ph.D. holders are preferred. Candidates pursuing Ph.D in management can also apply.

For HMCT : Degree/3-year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute affiliated to NCHM/SBTE/any recognized University with minimum 2 years hotel industry/teaching experience.

For FT : Degree/3-year Diploma in Food Science/Technology/Food Biology/Food & Nutrition/Food Processing or related discipline with specialization in Food Technology or Food Process Engineering, and minimum 2 years experience in hotel industry/teaching.

The right candidates should have strong communication skills with good knowledge of MS Office & Internet, over and above the stated basic qualifications.

Remuneration :
ISM, Pundag offers attractive compensation package. Faculty members will be placed on suitable scales commensurate to their qualifications and experience. Salary is not a constraint for deserving candidates.
