# SENIOR MANAGER/Associate Vice President – QUALITY ASSURANCE (Code : QA)

Location : Hyderabad, India

Job Overview :
MosChip Semiconductor is seeking Senior Management personnel for Quality Assurance. This position will require planning, coordinating, and implementing quality assurance program and ensuring that the quality of its products is consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The Quality Manager is responsible for continued implementation of Quality systems, reporting to Managing Director based in India and dotted-line reporting to COO based in US.

Primary Responsibilities :
* Formulate and achieve quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
* Commitment to high quality, awesome execution, solving for customers and employee engagement
* Apply experience, leadership and innovation to foster an environment of proactive, early quality assurance activities, including peer reviews of plans, estimates, designs, code, and test cases.
* Lead quality assurance team members in end to end preventive and corrective quality activities.
* Provide quality assurance leadership throughout the product development lifecycle, including brand new solutions and enhancements to existing products.
* Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
* Assess vendors through quality assurance reviews.
* Review all data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
* Collaborate effectively with peers, tech leads, architects and managers to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas.
* Keep management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
* Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
* Coordinate regular reviews with customers to understand their complaints on any quality issue of MosChip products, if any. In case of customer complaints, investigates and addresses their complaints accordingly.
* Coordinate the Process Change Notification (PCN) process in Taiwan. Work with both Corporate and customers until PCN’s are formally closed.
* Co-work to analyze quality cost, consisting of prevention cost, internal failure cost, external failure cost, and appraisal cost.
* Deep quality assurance understanding, solid technical understanding and extraordinary passion for growing and applying quality and technical skills in service to customers.

Education/Skills :
* Bachelor’s degree (M.S in Engineering) from a reputed U.S. University.
* 10-12 years related experience and in a semiconductor industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Prior experience in ASIC Quality assurance, process design and process management or related disciplines with overall understanding of the product development life cycle.
* Hands-on experience in working in product development or testing projects with be an added advantage
* Experience in application of the SEI CMMI, ISO 9001 preferred
* Background in both Quality/Reliability and a direct technical field such as Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology, or Operations.
