Hello, I am an entrepreneur. I am in the process of creating a startup that will be catering to niche urban markets. I would like to get in touch with recently graduated Fashion Designers with either no experience/no more than 2 years' experience.

Skills I am looking for:
1. Design fashionable apparel for a relatively untapped market space.
2. Thorough knowledge on skin friendly, non-allergic fabrics.
3. Should be able to produce samples from design for review.
4. Expertise or interest in designing intimate apparel for men and women.
5. Should be able to oversee the entire production.
6. Should be motivated enough to work independently.

You should be in Bangalore and have excellent English and regional language communication abilities. Since the company is in the ideation/incubation stage, you would have to work from home initially. You should also be willing to shoulder additional responsibilities. However, you will have a lot of leverage in charting the progress of the company, depending on the success of the business model. Background

Arts & Sciences Institute of Asia (ASIA), the first institute of its kind in the history of Afghanistan have initiated the Designing & Arts Institute (DAI) in its structure as an independent department to introduce the art of designing to Afghans, where it is needed for the rebuilding of the country. Afghans have never and ever had such an opportunity to learn designing arts such as fashion designing, interior designing, etc so far.
Typical work activities
Typical work activities include :
- classroom management;
- planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups;
- preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises;
- running specialist courses for adults or business people, which may require knowledge of scientific, technical or commercial terms;
- Manage & Develop the fashion design department;
- Teach the classes regularly;
- Handle the running projects;
- Faculty Training;
- Assisting in recruitment of staff for the department;
- Design and develop new related courses;
- Coordinate with the affiliated university & industry
- Placements

- basic administration such as keeping student registers and attendance records for starters and leavers
Qualifications
Should have at least a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing and TOEFL/IELTS Certificate
Professional level fluency in written and oral English and a good knowledge of Dari language is a plus
Be able to work with Microsoft Office 2007 professionally with full details
Good Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to coordinate and strong attention to details
Strong communication and organizational skills
Be an initiative person
At least 1-2 years experience in teaching Fashion Designing.
