Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 01-01-2010. Age is relaxable by 5 years for SC /ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates of W.B. State only
Other Conditions: All positions are transferable. Selected Candidates will be appointed in the regular pay band, initially on probation for a period of one year.
Candidates must have adequate knowledge for communicating in Bengali / Nepali language.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance at written test and interview for post code 01 to 03. Candidates for post code 04 & 05 will be selected on the basis of written test, computer proficiency test and interview. Candidates called for Written Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of travelling expenses. The Written Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Interview will be held in Kolkata only.
How to Apply:The candidates are required to submit Bank Draft / Pay Order for the post under Sl. No. 01 to 03 of Rs. 300/- and for Sl. No. 04 & 05 of Rs. 250/- as application fees ( SC / ST candidates from the State of West Bengal is exempted from paying application fees).
The last date of receipt of all documents with Registration Slip and Bank Draft / Pay Order is 18.12.2010. Incomplete papers / without Bank Draft or Pay Order / Received late are liable to be rejected.
The candidates must ensure that they have requisite qualifications shown against each post as per layout of advertisement and fulfill all the required criteria before applying for the post.
Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 24.11.2010 midnight and 14.12.2010. No other means / mode of application shall be accepted.
While applying on-line, candidate should have the following readily available.

[*]The Demand Draft / Pay Order details (if applicable) and valid e-mail ID are mandatory fields without which applications will not be registered.[*]The Demand Draft / Pay Order is non refundable and should be drawn in favor of "West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd." or ‘WBSETCL’ payable at Kolkata only. Demand Draft / Pay Orders payable at locations other than Kolkata will not be accepted.
