    RECRUITMENT AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDEs QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2010-11

    Applications are invited for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2010-11
    for 2 posts unreserved in Group ‘C’ categories.

    RECRUITMENT AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDEs QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2010-11

    Closing Date: 06.12.2010 at 18.00 hrs.

    1.0 PAY BAND-1:- j 5200-20200+Grade Pay 1900/-
    2.0 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
    2.1 The candidate should have minimum qualification of matriculation or equivalent examination
    passed with 50 % aggregate or higher qualification from any recognized Board/University.
    However, the condition of minimum 50% marks is not applicable for those with higher
    qualification.

    3.0 Age:
    The candidates should be aged between 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2011. There is no age
    relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/communities as the posts are unreserved.

    4.0 Mode of Selection:- The Selection of the eligible candidates will be on the following basis:-
    a) Written test (Objective type question as per syllabus) : 50 Marks
    b) Assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of S & G qualification
    over & above the minimum prescribed eligibility conditions : 35 Marks
    c) Personality test/Interview : 15 Marks
    Total :100 Marks

    8.0 EXAMINATION FEE (NON REFUNDABLE)
    8.1 (a) For GL/OBC candidates: j 40/- (b) For SC/ST candidates: NIL.
    8.2 Mode of Examination Fee Payment: The examination fee j 40/- should be paid in the form of
    Indian Postal Order, drawn in favour of the FA&CAO, North Central Railway, Allahabad,
    Payable at GPO Allahabad. The candidates should write their Name and Address on the IPO.
    IPOs obtained earlier to the date of issue of the employment notice will not be accepted.
    Cheques/drafts will not be accepted and application with Cheque/Draft will be cancelled.

    9.0 HOW TO APPLY
    91 Application shall be submitted on A-4 size quality white paper and should be in conformity with
    the format given in this notice. Candidates are advised to ensure that the application is legible,
    written in their own handwriting (English/Hindi) on only one side of the paper, dated and
    signed. Use only international numerals (1, 2, 3, etc). The candidate must affix his/her normal
    (English/Hindi) signature in the application form.
    9.2 Photograph:- One recent passport size photograph with clear front view of the candidate in normal attire

    10.0 Enclosures:
    The following enclosures should firmly be attached along with the application:-
    10.1 Crossed IPO for the amount of j 40/- should be firmly tied/annexed on the top of the
    application form mentioning their numbers, date of issue etc. in the appropriate column in the
    application form.
    10.2 Attested Xerox copy of Matriculation or equivalent certificate in proof of age.
    10.3 Attested Xerox copies of Educational certificates and mark-sheets and Scout & Guide
    certificates.
    10.4 Attested Xerox copy of caste certificate issued by competent authority in case of SC/ST.
    11.0 Whom to Apply:-The application complete in all respect, along with all the enclosures duly
    attached, should be sent in a cover addressed to the “Dy. Chief Personnel Officer/Rectt., North
    Central Railway, Personnel Branch, ‘B’ Block, GM’s Office, Subedarganj, Allahabad”.
    Application should be sent by ordinary post only or dropped in box kept in this office (on
    ground floor) for this purpose. Application sent by registered post/courier or speed post will not
    be acknowledged. The envelope containing the application should clearly be super-scribed
    “Application for Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2010-11”
    .
    12. Last date for receipt of application: The closing date is 18.00 hrs on 06-12-10.

    Legal Matters: Any legal matter arising out of this employment notice shall fall within the
    legal jurisdiction of North Central Railway only.
