Trade Finance :
1. Corresponding with Bank for Trade Services related to Collection/ Discounting/ Negotiation of Export Bills, opening Letters of Credit for Import Bills & Payments thereon, issue of Demand Drafts, Mail Transfers, and Telegraphic Transfers etc.
2. Monitoring all the transactions related to Pre- Shipment Finance or Packing Credit & Post Shipment finance facilities extended by the Bank (Period of loan & interests charged by Bank on PCL/ Normal Bills/ Overdue Bills, Quantum of advance, Sources of Repayment, Follow up of all Post negotiation Procedures.
3. Settlement of Debts in international trade as per the letters of credit mechanisms considering the rules set under UCP revisions Given by ICC for documentary Credits for exports and imports.
4. Ensuring the proper preparation, presentation, and rectification of discrepancies in other documents used in foreign trade (Bills of exchange, marine insurance policy, Invoices, Certificates, Declaration Forms (GR Form, SDF Form, PP Form), Bill of lading, Air waybill & other transport documents.
5. Calculation of Exchange Rates (Ready Exchange Rates, Forward Exchange Rates- Fixed & Option Forward Rates) & bargaining for the best quotes taking care of Bank’s Exchange Margins.
