JOB DESCRIPTION & CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Skill-Set

* Hands-on experience in programming with C, C++, shell scripting, perl tcl and expect
* 5-7 years of experience with BS degree or equivalent (MS Preferred)
* In depth working knowledge of Networking, Server and/or Storage products
* Strong ability to architect, deliver and integrate Storage, Server and Networking
* System, storage, networking solutions, virtualization solutions in enterprise environments
* Strong understanding of Blade systems
* In depth understanding of enterprise data center technologies including networking, security, storage networking, NAS, Cloud Computing and physical data center practices
* Strong experience with IP-based and Fiber channel networking for SAN/NAS technologies
* Any Virtualization certifications are a plus :
-- VMWare
-- HP Virtualization - Virtual Partition, Integrity Virtual Machines, Virtual Connect
-- CISCO
-- Redhat/Citrix

Job Responsibilities

* Will be responsible to interpret a set of business requirements into tactical technical tasks.
* Will be responsible to manage a team of around 8 to 10 resources comprising of engineers and senior engineers.
* Will be entirely responsible for scheduling, project management and deliverables.
* Will be responsible to take initiative and make recommendations for business process improvement.
* Will be responsible to groom and mentor his/her team engineers
* Will be involved in contract negotiations as and when required.
