“A Design of power system stabilizer for single machine to infinite bus system”, under the Guidance of Dr. A.J.Mehta (Head Of Department, Electrical Engineering,G.H Patel college of Engg.,V.V.Nagar,Anand).
Scope of Work :
The scope of work was to design a power system stabilizer (PSS)for single machine to infinite bus by using duality of reduced order observer with sliding mode control.
In power system PSS provide
- Damped the rotor oscillation within the 2 or 3 sec.
- Enhance the angle stability of system and increase the power transfer in the system.
PROJECT INFORMATION
- Electric Traction of Indian Railways : - The project covered all technical aspects of Indian Railways electric locomotives. It also included integration of GPS & GIS which provided a new horizon in the management of equipment, manpower, traffic operation and time & rail accidents.
PAPER PRESENTATION
- Presented a technical paper on “Novel approach for designing a power system stabilizer” in national conference recent trends in engineering and technology at B.V.M engg.college.
