    Training Course in Operative Laparoscopy

    The aim of this course is to master laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and the techniques of endoscopic suturing. This course is specially designed to supplement the residency program and is of international standard. The course is also very useful for practicing surgeons who do not have any basic training in Laparoscopic Surgery. The course is equally suitable for junior surgeon starting out in minimal access surgery and the more senior surgeon who is either new to laparoscopy or wishes to refresh his laparoscopic skills.

    During the course practical exercises are presented with an increasing level of difficulty and then complete training modules (cholecystectomy) can be repeated as often as the participant requires. Each surgeon will carry out at least 10 cholecystectomies as surgeon and further 10 procedures as a cameraman.

    This project is a realization of various encoding and decoding schemes in WCDMA Transceiver system. Each block is coded using VHDL and simulated using ModelSim. The synthesis tool used is Xilinx ISE simulator.

    How is the Laparoscopic Training of World Laparoscopy Hospital?

    My name is Gurmeet. I am a fresh Surgeon and I want to know that is anybody can tell about the training facility of laparoscopic surgery available in India. I have heard about World Laparoscopy Hospital which is in Gurgaon, I read about this laparoscopic training institute in Journal of Indian Medical Association, but can anybody tell how much hands on they provide and how is the quality of training there.
