TITLE : “A STUDY ON MANUFACTURING OF TURBOGENERATORS”

Location : BHEL, Hyderabad.
As electrical energy is produced on a very large scale by the use of turbogenerators.
In this project a sincere effort has been made in study process of manufacturing turbo generator of 90.59MVA, 11KV, 3000rpm and 2pole.
This project gave us an opportunity to know about the structural components of a turbogenerators.
Main project (Final year B-Tech) :-
TITLE : “WIRELESS POWERMETER READING USING ZIGBEE”
Team size : 3 members
Duration : 3 months
Now a day’s technology has developed to a large extent. At the same time the need for systems with automation and high security are preferred. The deployment of electronic meters has gained a great deal of momentum over the past several years. This is due to their two advantages over the traditional electromechanical designs i.e., improved accuracy and an expanded set of features. Current microcontroller technology allows designers to built meters that are competitive in price with traditional devices, while maintaining the required accuracy of +1% or -1% for domestic applications. In this project we have used one of the technologies available ie, ZIGBEE by which we have designed an automatic electric power meter reading system for domestic purposes.
In this project we have chosen ZIGBEE technology because it avoids human intervention and monitors the power meter reading automatically.
