The Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC) was started on January 6, 1966, by Mr. JRD Tata. Its mandate was to serve as an educational institution that would assist, foster, cultivate and contribute to the development of professional management for the economic development of the country. Since then, it has developed into one of the leading management training institutes in the country having linkages with renowned national and international institutions. TMTC is now the learning arm of the Tata Group’s Human Resources function.
