TECHNICAL PROJECTS& TRAININGS:

- As final year project of B.Tech. “ A NOVEL 48-PULSE GTO VSC STATCOM FOR REACTIVE POWER AND VOLTAGE REGULATION CONTROL”
Description:
This project investigates dynamic operation of “A Novel 48 pulse GTO VSC STATCOM” for both voltage stabilization and reactive power compensation”. The controller for the STATCOM is based upon a new technique called De-coupled current control technique. The complete design& digital simulation of the STATCOM scheme connected to 220kv grid is performed in SIMULINK6.0/SIMPOWERSYSTEMS3.0 environment. We carried out a case study at INDIAN RAILWAYS, Vizag for Electric Traction power system and we have designed and proposed a new technique for effective reactive power compensation & system voltage stabilization and it is SIMULATED on same environment, gave very satisfactory results and it is submitted.
- As final year project of diploma “STUDY OF ELECTRIC TRACTION SUBSTATION” at Rajahmundry.
Description: Our project mainly focuses in understanding what is the Strategic Methodology followed in Electric Traction Electrification, methods of Power control and Protection methods.
