- Achieved 60% Just-In-Time (JIT) supplies/procurement on total procurement and reduced the inventory cost to considerable extent.
- Productively created the Inventory Norms for Minimum and Maximum inventory levels of production consumables & Spares to reduce the inventory carrying costs as well as to avoid stock out situation due to low inventory.

Key Deliverables :
- Reporting to the DGM –Mechanical Planning.
- Coordinating with the Strategic Planning team for procurement of all Mechanical spares & Consumables such as Bearings, Gear box, Pumps, all type of Valves, Compressor spares, Sheet metals, Welding consumables and other Mechanical equipments, etc...
- Preparing day wise, week wise and month wise delivery plans as per source/supplier’s location & shipment duration.
- Annual Business Plan for Procurement, Annual Budget Planning and Financial Planning, Planning of Production Material.
- Variance analysis, Trend Price analysis of Raw Material.
- Procuring of all operational spares & production consumables as per the production plan.
- Planning of Monthly and Weekly Procurement of all purchasing material as per user department’s requirement (Production Consumables and Refractory materials).
- Planning for transportation with the help of Logistics teams.
- Coordinate with quality/production departments with respect to quality of incoming material and conduct quality checks.
- Bringing about Cost Reduction through Savings in Procurement cost, Alternate sourcing and tough Negotiations with the Vendors.
- Undertaking Cost reduction planning & analysis of material and cost reduction on current prices through - Just in Time (JIT), Vendor Inventory Management System.
- Handling of Documentation - the procurement & weekly report of imported materials.
- Managing the Sale of rejected materials, re-usable materials and scraps.
- Developing New Vendors and Alternate Vendors.
- Understanding functional specification and finalization of the test cases.
- Ensuring the stocking of all production consumables within IBM norms and maintaining Nil down time on account of Non availability of the same.
- Monitor supplier`s performance in terms of delivery, pricing index and cost saving.
- Involved in following up with Purchase Officer / Manager of respective modules for completion of Pending S/Cs.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Karad, affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur in ’07. Secured First Class with Distinction 66.12 % marks.
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Dhule (MSBTE, Mumbai) in ’04, Secured First class with Distinction 78.08 % marks.
- XII from S.G.Patil Arts, Science & Commerce College, Sakri, (Dhule) in ’01. Second class secured 59.17 %.
- X from A.M.V., Sakri, (Dhule) in ’99, First class secured 71.46 % marks.
