APPOINTMENT

North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (NEDFi) , is a public financial institution incorporated under the Companies Act 1956, and promoted by IDBI, SBI, LICI, and other All India Financial Institutions and SUUTI. NEDFi was established for the development of North Eastern Region by providing credit and support facilities to industries, infrastructure, agriculture and allied activities. NEDFi is looking for professionals for the following posts from candidates with keen understanding of development issues and zeal for working in the North Eastern Region.

Assistant General Manager (Legal) Grade C :
Qualification :
Graduate in any subject with LL.B / five years integrated course of law with 50% marks in aggregate and below the age of 45 years.
Experience :
At least 10 years experience as Advocate or as Legal Officer in a large Financial Institution or Bank. Candidates having 7 to 10 years experience may be considered for a post in a lower grade.
The candidate will be responsible for all legal work including drafting, conveyancing, title investigation, legal documentation, and filing of civil suits for recovery of loans and handling of DRT cases and any litigation involving NEDFi.

Manager Grade B :
Qualification :
First class engineering graduate, First class master degree in economics / agriculture / agri economics preferably with MBA
Or
Graduate in any subject with 60% marks (55% for reserved category) from reputed institutions / University with MBA/ CA or any other professional qualification and below the age of 40 years.
Experience :
Minimum 7 years post qualification experience preferably in areas of appraisal and follow up of projects in a reputed bank / financial institution / financial services organization.

Assistant Manager Grade A :
Qualification :
First class engineering graduate, First class master degree in economics / agriculture / agri economics preferably with MBA
Or
Graduate in any subject with 60% (55% for reserved category) marks from reputed institutions / University with MBA /CA or any other professional qualification and below the age of 30 years.
Experience :
1/2 years post qualification on the job experience preferably in areas of appraisal and follow up of projects in a reputed bank / financial institution / financial services organization.
Candidates having less than 1 (one) year experience may be considered for the post of Management Trainee.

Assistant Manager (Legal) Grade A :
Qualification :
Graduate in any subject with LL.B / five years integrated course of law with 50% marks in aggregate and below the age of 30 years.
Experience :
1/2 post qualification working experience in the legal department of a bank/ financial institution/ legal firm or practicing at court dealing with Civil matters including Debts Recovery Tribunal. Must have experience in drafting, conveyancing, title investigation, legal documentation etc. Knowledge of local laws / rules etc. applicable in North Eastern states is desirable.
Candidates having less than 1 (one) year experience will be considered for the post of Management Trainee.
