West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL), a professionally-managed, consistently Profit-making, Government-owned, multi-sited power transmission Company in Eastern India with annual turnover of around 720 crore, invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the following posts:

1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 69 posts,
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 22 posts,
3. Assistant Engineer (IT & Comp. Sc.) : 02 posts,
4. Assistant Manager (HR&A) : 07 posts, Pay Scale :
5. Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts) : 18 posts,

Age Limit : 27 years as on 01-01-2010.

Other Conditions :
All positions are transferable. Selected Candidates will be appointed in the regular pay band, initially on probation for a period of one year. Candidates must have adequate knowledge for communicating in Bengali / Nepali language.

Mode of Selection :
Selection will be made on the basis of performance at written test and interview for post code 01 to 05. Candidates called for Written Test & Interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of travelling expenses. The Written Test & Interview will be held in Kolkata only.

How to Apply :
The candidates for the post under Sl. No. 01 to 05 are required to submit Bank Draft of 400/- as application fees (SC / ST candidates from the State of West Bengal is exempted from paying application fees).

The last date of receipt of all documents with Registration Slip and Bank Draft is 11.12.2010. Incomplete papers / without Bank Draft / Received late are liable to be rejected.

The candidates must ensure that they have requisite qualifications shown against each post as per layout of advertisement and fulfills all the required criteria before applying for the post.

Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 18.11.2010 and 08.12.2010. No other means / mode of application shall be accepted.

The original Registration Slip with required Demand Draft/Pay Order (having name and registration number duly written on the back of Demand Draft/Pay Order) and Certificates (as applicable) is to be sent, only by ORDINARY POST so as to reach latest by 11.12.2010 in the following address

Project worked:
- ACCCS : It consists of n\w of computers and interactive terminals to provide automated command and control system for the FIELD ARTILLERY OPERATIONS AND DATA MANAGEMENT.
- The automation support is provided to Artillery elements in both static and mobile roles.


Nature of work:
- As per the schematic diagram, visual inspection and electrical testing of all modules.If incase any problem in the module trouble shooting with the help of schematic.
- As per Automatic Test Equipment procedure to test the Enhanced Tactical Computer in order to verify the initial conditions of an ETC then the same procedure has to be repeated for before & after Vibration , Thermal.
