    Job Description :

    Qualification : BE / B.Tech / B.Sc from a recognized university.

    Desired Profile :
    * Around 5 - 8yrs experience in Procurement of capital buying, Engineering spares and process consumables of integrated plant like –, Power Plant, Ferro Alloys Plant, Steel Melting, Wire Rod Mill and cement plant etc….
    * Experience in Project Engineering Material buying.
    * Sound Techno-Commercial knowledge related to all contractual aspects, applicable taxes etc of procurement handling for inland as well as import procurement.
    * Knowledge of cost base analysis and value engineering and vendor price evaluation.
    * Should necessarily have good communication skills, good negotiation skills and should be proficient with the legal aspects of procurement.

    Working knowledge in “SAP” will be preferred.

    Job Role :
    * Co-ordination with Users, suppliers and Stores to clear the GRN, finance wing for speedy clearance of payment, opening of LC etc.
    * Co-ordination with vendors on price negotiation, commercial conditions and delivery schedule etc.
    * Reviews all contracts for goods and services to ensure that they are being carried out effectively and renegotiate terms wherever necessary.
    * Support in preparation of Techno-Commercial and price bid analysis.
    * Ensuring proper functioning of purchase policies / procedures and practices in line with the company objectives.

    Experience Required : 5-8

    Skills : Good Comminication Skills , Good Analitical Skills.

    Job Role and Duties
    - Translation of materials purchase requisition i.e. stock and non-stock into suppliers purchase orders
    - Regular Follow-ups with the supplier for the order acknowledgement and other commitment fulfillment
    - Liaison between the supplier and SESCO departments at all stages from the time of requisition up to the actual receipt of materials
    - Regulate the Delivery Cost Factor of all incoming shipments and calculation of Custom Duties.
    - Coordinate shipment details with local clearing agent to ensure timely release of material.
    - Ensure offset in payments which are made to local and foreign suppliers as advance or partial as per Purchase Order conditions against the actual receipt of materials.
    - Handling the incoming shipping documents and forwarding to the customs clearing agents

    - Regular Ex-port follow-ups with the suppliers for delivery confirmation and update the status in Supplier Information Database.
    - Review and take necessary action against the shipment discrepancy which is forwarded by branches.
