ITER (ITER, http://www.iter.org) is a Multi-Billion Euro International Scientific project in which India, as one of the seven members, makes 9% contribution towards equipment. (This will be supplied ‘in-kind’, i.e., by building the systems/components in India and sending them to the construction site at Cadarache in France). The activities in India are coordinated by the Domestic Agency called ITER-India (http://www.iter-india.org). To help it in carrying out its responsibilities for the ITER Project, ITER-India wishes to appoint Engineers in the following areas/disciplines. The appointments will be in Pay Band 3 ( Rs. 15600-39100) with total emoluments not less than Rs. 48675/-

Engineers : 10 posts (Mechanical-8, Electrical-1, RF/MW Engineer-1),
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400,
Age : 35 years

Experience :
Experience means experience in a relevant field after qualifying degree (other than teaching experience).
Merely satisfying the minimum requirement does not ensure that an applicant would be eligible for the next stage of the selection procedure or an interview.

For Engineer at SD level, candidates with BE/B.Tech. Degree with 4 years of work experience and candidates with ME/M.Tech. Degree with 2 years of work experience may apply.
Applicants with more than 8 years of relevant experience after BE/B.Tech or 6 years of relevant experience after ME/M.Tech Degree may be considered at higher level.
