Job Description
1) Pre Sales and Post Sales Support: Principal Consultants must bring in industry expertise in the area of specialization specifically around providing sound business solutions to the customers. Will participate extensively in pre sales and post sales situations supporting new business acquisition as well as post sale expertise to the engagement from a business solution perspective
2) Customer Satisfaction: Drive customer satisfaction meeting all deliverables of the engagement successful within specified timelines
3) Provide Strategic Consulting Services that result in a positive impact on the customer's business. Provide Domain solutions around key OSS / BSS areas like Provisioning, Order management, Billing and Customer Care.
4) Drive domain solutions that are key trends in marketplace; understand key trends and market requirements for telecom and build intellectual capital and knowledge ultimately driving your business growth
5) Drive highest industry recognition for the telecom business unit. Drive all brand activities (messaging, brand, content) with respect to the telecom business
6) Build key talent and intellectual leadership
7) Participate, lead and influence key leadership decisions inside the customer organization relating to it's future growth and business strategy
8) Create and manage system and processes that allow knowledge to be captured and retained as important intellectual property for the business unit
9) Share best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of Patni CME's service delivery. Required to maintain and expand working knowledge of current Patni CME services and accounts as well as industry and practice specific support
10) Integrate all aspects of practice responsibilities with larger Patni organization allowing leverage of scale and knowledge sharing
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in Telecom is must.
Strong experience in the telecom service provider vertical with understanding of underlying differentiation between wireless, wire line, cable and service provider business. Leadership abilities including strategic thinking, teamwork, ability to influence, strong analytical and problem solving skills, a high level of professionalism, the ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail and self-motivation. To succeed in this role, you need to have the following attributes:
MS/MBA strongly preferred; 3 years in IT services business, at least 5 years industry experience in the area of specialization(wireless, wire-line, broadband, voice, data etc.) Must have end-to-end knowledge of the industry business processes.
Extensive knowledge of and experience in OSS/BSS systems in telecom understanding of processes, key technologies and players, key trends and domain related solutions. Strong skills in driving solutions ; must exhibit leadership in key telecom domain business process
Must have strong networking and sourcing skills; exhibit strong drive for results and success and ability to achieve set goals and deadlines. Personal attributes include strong work ethic, passion for what you are doing, detail oriented, and a sense of urgency.
Ability to facilitate problem resolution within all levels of an organization and across organizations.
