Engagement of Assistant Engineer (Civil)/Junior Engineers (Civil) and (Electrical) on contract basis.

Applications “through on line only” are invited from the retired Engineers for engagement on contract basis as Junior Engineer (Civil)/Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil) in the ESIC Regional Office at Chennai, Sub Regional Offices at Coimbatore, Madurai & Salem and ESIC Model Hospital, K.K.Nagar, Chennai.

Educational and other qualification:
1. For Asst.Engineer, Degree/Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. Only persons, who were Asstt.Engineer or above at the time of retirement from Central/State/Public Sector undertaking are eligible to apply.
2. For Junior Engineer, Diploma in Electrical/Civil Engineering from recognized institution. Only persons, who were Junior Engineer or above at the time of retirement from Central/State/Govt. Public Sector undertaking are eligible to apply.

Age limit: Not exceeding 64 years as on 31.12.2010.
Nature of job: Scrutiny of estimates and monitoring execution of various projects including repairs and maintenance work and activities as per requirement from time to time.

Remunerations (consolidated): Rs.12,000/- per month for Junior Engineers and Rs.18,000/- per month for Assistant Engineers. No other perks/benefits, such as H.R.A, Transport Allowance, Medical Reimbursement etc. are payable

Number of Engineers required:
A.E (Civil)- Chennai-2 and Madurai -1
J.E (Civil)- Chennai-2, one each in Coimbatore, Madurai and Salem
J.E (Electrical)- Chennai-2 and Salem-1.
