ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANTS UNDER
NATIONAL HORTICULTURE MISSION

Applications are invited for engagement of one Consultant each in the field of (i) Post Harvest Management (PHM) and (ii) Communication & Media for the National Horticulture Mission.

The candidate for consultancy in Post Harvest Management should have
B.Tech./Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture/Agri. Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience in post harvest issues such as storage, transport, capacity building, processing and marketing etc. relating to horticulture and allied sectors.

The candidate for consultancy in Communication & Media/Publicity should have excellent written skills and possess 7 years experience in media plans, publications and promotional campaigns through electronic media, publicity and advertisement. A degree/diploma in mass communication will be an advantage.

The selected persons will be engaged as Consultants on full time basis for a period of six months under the Technical Support Group (TSG) of National Horticulture Mission (NHM) with Headquarters at National Horticulture Board (NHB), Gurgaon/Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi. At present, the Consultants are entitled to a consolidated honorarium of `35000/- per month (with no DP/DA/CCA/HRA etc.) (Honorarium is likely to be revised upwards).

He will be entitled to travel by Taxi/Train (up to A/C First Class)/Air (Economy Class). Hotel Accommodation costs, daily allowance as admissible to Class-I officers of National Horticulture Board (NHB) and incidental expenses incurred in connection with the assignment will be borne by the NHB as per actual, on production of supporting vouchers.
