The FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA, one of the largest Central Government PublicSector undertakings dealing with Food Grains Management and Allied activities wishes toinduct in its different Category III Hindi Posts, personnel for manning posts in theDistrict/Regional/Zonal establishments in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu Regions. Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals who fulfill theprescribed qualifications, experience and age etc. for the disciplines indicated below.
Asst. Grade II (Hindi) : Essential : (i) Degree of a recognized
University with Hindi as the main subject (ii) Proficiency in English (iii) One yearexperience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa. Desirable : Post Graduatequalification in Hindi.
Hindi (Typist) : (i) Graduation or equivalent (ii) 30 W.P.M speed
in Hindi Typing (iii) Preference will be given to the candidates knowing by-lingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer Knowledge.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTION:
1. All the posts carry IDA pattern pay scales and usual allowances such as CCA, HRA,Leave Travel facilities etc. These scales carry DA on percentage basis. Gross emolumentswould vary depending upon place of posting.
2. Employees of the Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings should apply online,take a printout of filled form, attach the No Objection Certificate from their employeralong with other essential enclosures and send it to the address mentioned so as to reachwithin the stipulated time.
3. Mere submission of application and fulfilling the eligibility criteria gives no right to anyperson for appearing in test / interview etc.
4. Filling up of these vacancies is subject to the outcome of any litigation affecting the recruitment.
5. No correspondence will be entertained about the outcome of the application, at anystage.
6. Application not in the prescribed Performa or incomplete, shall be summarily rejected.
7. There will be a written Test for all eligible applicants. Tests are likely to be conducted at BENGALURU, CHENNAI, HYDERABAD, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. Managementreserves the right to change or cancel any test centre. The applicants should clearly givetheir preference of examination centre in the application form. On qualifying the written
test, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification.
HOW TO APPLY :
1. Examination fee for applying is Rs.300/-. Candidate should remit Rs 300/- by Demand Draft drawn in favor of Food Corporation of India, payable at Chennai.
2. Application fee is not required for SC, ST and PH candidates.
3. Application can be submitted by a candidate only once and against only one of the posts, which means candidate has only ONE choice of selection of ONE of the postsoffered. Hence, candidates should apply for the post, most suiting to his/herQualifications, Experience etc.
4. Application can be made in online mode only. The candidates who apply online have to fill all the details online, then take print out of filled form, affix photo & put signaturesat designated places & then send the form along with demand draft & photocopies ofcertificates to the post box number, as mentioned therein.
