Market Intelligence, Rules/Regulations, and Networking: Keep abreast on the latest rules and regulations on fares/ tariff. Maintain the fare files and ensure timely updates on fares are circulated to agents/ corporate. Liaison with travel agents and thereafter motivate them to sale more of assigned product Identify new prospects and give leads to sales. Customer Handling: Ensure customer satisfaction at all times by providing quality services to meet individual customer needs. Quality of tickets issued should be with no errors/ overwriting, all endorsements/ codes are mentioned, no mistake in fare calculation/ prorations / deals/ refunds is made, no debit and ticket time limits are followed. Responsible for giving regular and effective timely update to agents/ clients on reservation/ pricing/product information Ensure that customer queries/ complaints are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Cost Control: Ensure cost control by critically looking at all expenditure items Reduce collateral outage at the counter to zero percent. Reduce transaction/ error to zero percent and thereby ensure that no debit notes are issued as a result of error in ticketing. Documentation: Responsible for keeping the ticket register updated at all times. Complete filing at the counter. Ensure that all files and registers are maintained properly. P forms and coupons files are maintained properly. Maintain the commissions register of agents. Co-ordination: Provide timely assistance to outstations on fares related issues. Follow up closely with the agents and Product Managers for seat confirmations.
